Video-to-Prompt Observation Sheet

When reverse-engineering a short video, describe what can be observed before guessing how it was made. Capture each layer separately:

Subject and action
Who or what is visible, and what changes during the shot?
Environment
Location, time of day, weather, background elements, and practical light sources.
Camera
Shot size, angle, lens feel, movement, speed, and focus behavior.
Lighting and color
Direction, softness, contrast, palette, exposure, and atmosphere.
Timing
Approximate duration, motion beats, transitions, and ending state.
Constraints
Aspect ratio, unwanted objects, continuity requirements, and negative prompt terms.

Convert observations

ShotToPrompt analyzes a video shot and helps turn visible details into a structured prompt that can be refined for a generation workflow.
